Hearoid has a smart control remote that can:
- move the robot
- turn the robot
- control the tape player to start or stop playing a taped message
- play your voice (live) through an on-board speaker
- start the playback of recorded programs
- turn the headlights (eyes) on and off
Here's the cool part: you can also teach the robot to do all of the above when you speak into the remote! Like the Omnibot, everything the Hearoid does can be programmed to tape and then played back. The Hearoid only has one built in alarm though. The arms and serving tray are identical to the Omnibot
